Old Kempton Lavender Liqueur
Made using our malt spirit (which would otherwise be destined to become whisky), we steep Tasmanian grown Lavender heads in the spirit to impart a beautiful floral aroma (the heads are stripped and steeped for only a few days to ensure we capture the florals without taking on the green/herbaceous flavour of the stem). We then sweeten with a house made sugar syrup and colour with butterfly pea flower to create a vibrant floral liqueur perfect for use in cocktails such as an Aviation or as a straight sipping liqueur.
It changes colour with tonic and soda. Greats over vanilla bean ice cream, in a cocktail or a spritz with sparkling wine and limoncello.
